House prices have risen more in the last month than they have in the the last 4 years a new report out shows.
House prices rose an average of 1.7% in England and wales in July. The best since 2004.
Every region across the country recorded a rise in house prices across the board, But the news as positive as it is still shows that the house prices are 11% lower than they were a year ago. House sales for the same period were also down.
Many reports recently commissioned show the housing market is beginning to recover, with the worst hit probably being the tenants, after they have seen rent increase as housing demand increases after “reluctant buy to sell” landlards reverted back to thier original plan of “buy to sell”.
